In 2021, Shi Han and Jie quit their jobs from Singapore as an architect.

A friend told them about an art residency programme in Langkawi. They said “yes” without thinking much.

It was during this time, Shi Han discovered many uncovered stories on the island and convinced Jie to move to Langkawi together.

Langkawi turned out to be “The Most Misunderstood Island”. Not being accurately portrayed on the media.

The people on the island, in their quiet unassuming ways are crafting extraordinary lives with limited resources.

And we are here to share their stories to you.
